Lancaster Gate is a gem. Located about a 15 minute walk to Paddington on a quiet street, its location is second to none. The staff were all helpful; the facilities clean. And, we loved that our room was air conditioned!

Room was relatively small but good enough for 2 people. The room was always tidy, with daily cleaning and bathroom accessories replacement. The hotel location is great. Silent street, 5 min walk from underground station, and 2 mins from bus stops at the Oxford street. Huge Kesnsington and Hyde Parks are virtually next door. A couple of pubs and greek kitchen restaurants around the corner.

The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. The room was comfortable and the service was good. The power outlets did not work the first night we were there but were repaired as soon as we noticed. The hotel is close to Hyde Park, lots restaurants and pubs, and close to bus stop, tube and train connections.

The location was excellent. Close to many different lines of the tube and Hyde Park. Close to Paddinton Station where you can come and go on the expressway to Heathrow easily.
